I would like to inform that there is a change of reporting place for this friday 19 june 2009 for the Youth In Action Retreat. Originally you were inform to meet at Hong Kah Sec. But now the reporting place is at JJC by 8.45 am

Youth Partners required @ 18 June 2009

Jurong West NPC police officers require about 10 Sec 4 youth partners to help out on 18/06/2009 to prepare for the Youth Partner retreat held on the following day, 19 June.

Report to Jurong West NPC at 1330hrs. Mr Mahadir would be bringing you to Bukit Batok Adventure Center for the preparation which will end at about 1800hrs. Transport will be provided to send you back to Jurong West NPC and dismiss. Food and transportation would be provided.

Hui Hui, Nasima and Amani, please revert to me the names of the students going as soon as possible, latest by next Monday, 15 June.

Youth In Action Retreat @ 19 June 2009

On 19 June, this Friday, there will be a prize presentation at Jurong Junior College at 8.45am, followed by a Youth In Action Retreat at Bukit Batok Adventure Center till 8pm. Bus and meals will be provided. All Sec 3 and selected Sec 4 are to report in YIA Tshirt and school bottom at school carpark at 8.15am for bus. Mr Roger Loo will be the accompanying teacher.

This Youth In Action Retreat is an orientation programme where Sec 3 learn how to be Police Youth Ambassador (PYA). You will be asked to help the Jurong West NPC police officers in exhibitions and home visits on an adhoc basis. This programme is necessary for you to attain the PYA badge, in order to be Staff Sergeant.

The following Sec 4 students will be receiving their certificates and book vouchers at Prize presentation ceremony at JJC.

POP

Yesterday, we had our Passing Out Parade(POP) held in school. After the POP was the ROD for the secondary 4s and 5s, and i guess this will be my last post on this blog.

On behalf of this batch of NCOs, I would like to thank all the CIs, TOs, HOs and of course our OC for allowing us to lead the unit to greater heights. Apart from the lessons learnt in classes, we had also learnt alot from NPCC and gained a lot, such as fostering strong bonds within our friendships, not only within our unit but also from other schools.

To the next batch of NCOs, I would like to wish all of you all the best in leading the unit for the rest of the year. Do HKSS NPCC proud and never give up if you all happen to meet any difficulties along the way.

Last but not least, to my squad mates, it is time to put in all our effort and study for our upcoming O and N levels. Good luck and all the best!

Upcoming events

Dear cadets,

There will be parade tomorrow and there are a number of events that will be taking place.

They are:

-Promotion Ceremony,

-Passing out Parade,

-Celebration for attaining Gold unit and last but not least,

-ROD for the sec 4s and 5s

So please report by 3.15pm at the car park in FULL UNIFORM for promotion ceremony briefing for sec 1 and 2, and POP briefing for sec 3 and 4.

For the newly appointed Department Heads and training deputy head, please report by 3pm in Full Uniform for your trainings.

Everyone is to bring along your WHITE NPCC COLLAR SHIRT to change after the POP to prepare for the next event which is the celebrations.

Dear cadets,

There will be NPCC day celebration this Thursday during the morning assembly. All of you except for the sec 1s and 5s are to be in FULL UNIFORM by 7am in the morning and gather outside the NPCC room. Sec 1 and 5 will fall in in MUFTI.

After the parade, all of you will change to mufti instead of school uniform, so please bring along your NPCC white collar shirt.

Dry Shoot Practice

Hi all!

Good to see that u guys are visiting this blog. Do continue visiting this blog as information on upcoming events and trainings will be posted here.

All shooting team members please be reminded that there will be a dry practice at Jurong Police HQ this Friday, 15 may 2009, which is also the marking day.
Although it is a short break after all the mugging and hard work you guys have put in for the examinations, but you guys still have to attend this practice in order to prepare yourself for the upcoming shooting competition. Therefore attendance is COMPULSORY.

Training will start from 3pm to around 5pm so please be outside the poice HQ at 3pm sharp. Attire would be NPCC top and school base.

Tomorrow will be our school's 16th annual speech day.

All cadets involved in the parade are to be in school by 0700hr and be in your FULL UNIFORM by 0730hr and fall in outside the canteen for attire check.

Promotion Test 2009

Greetings!

There will be a Promotion Test for all secondary 1 and 2 tomorrow.
Therefore, attire for tomorrow's parade will be FULL UNIFORM FOR EVERYONE and PT KIT FOR SECONDARY ONE.
Report at the car park by 3.15pm in your appropriate attire and please bring along a pen for the written test

SPF-NPCC Badge Presentation Ceremony 2009

On 3rd April 2009, 7 cadets and Mrs Jamie Chia attended the SPF-NPCC Badge Presentation Ceremony at Victoria School. The Guest-of-Honour was Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Ang Hak Seng, Senior Director for Planning and Development, Planning and Organisation Department, Singapore Police Force.

The SPF-NPCC Badge is the pinnacle NPCC award badge that was launched in April 1997 to give recognition to outstanding cadets with good leadership qualities.

7 outstanding cadets from our school are being recognized for their good leadership qualities and awarded the pinnacle award for NPCC cadets in 2009. This award is only awarded to top 2% of entire NPCC cohort in Singapore. They were being selected from a total 548 nominations from 155 school NPCC units.
